How long do these sculptures take to make?
The processing times of these eggshells vary depending on the type of eggshell and the intricacy of the pattern.

Processing times for Chicken, duck & Goose eggshell sculptures is between 7 - 14 working days.
​
Processing times for Ostrich eggshell sculptures are between 4 to 8 weeks.
​
Processing times for bespoke packages are dependent on the quantities required and start from 21 days.

How do you ship these eggshell sculptures?
These sculptures are packaged carefully and securely in custom made boxes and are shipped via Royal mail special delivery. I offer free Royal mail special delivery within the UK and a special courier service for the US and the rest of the world.
For international shipping please email me if you would like to enquire further. Hatchfully Yours will not be responsible for any custom and duty costs in countries outside the UK.
I would like to order something very unique for my daughter's wedding. Do you take commissions?
All the eggshell sculpture that I carve for you are bespoke and custom made (even the ones listed in the shop).

Eggshells you see in the shop are semi customisable, where you can have the same design in a color of your choice and personalize it with names or initials and/or a date engraved on the eggshell.

Alternatively, if you wish to have a bespoke eggshell hand-carved incorporating a different design (a design that might have some sentimental value to you, for example., a design from your mum's wedding ring, or incorporating unique elements from your mum's home, where you grew up, or if you like butterflies, etc., I can work with you to create something truly unique and special. Simply fill in the contact form with your requirements and I will book you for a free 30 mins consultation call to discuss this with you further.
Can I have personalised engravings on these eggshells?
Yes, you can have names/initials and /or a date engraved on each eggshell sculpture.
Are the eggshells free-range and organic?
Yes. I carve on free-range organic eggshells from local farms.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, I ship these eggshell sculptures as souvenirs around the world. For orders outside of the UK, I will either use the Royal Mail Service where appropriate or a DPD/DHL courier service or equivalent. The flat rate of shipping these to the US is £35 + £20 for packaging and handling. The flat rate to anywhere else in the world is £45 + £20 packaging and handling. or insurance costs will need to be added to your order. For all international orders, you will need to check and be responsible for any customs or extra charges for the country you are shipping your order to.
Please be aware that I will not send items as gifts or stated as a lower value than your order, as your items would not be covered if unfortunately, something went missing in transit.
Do you offer refunds?
All hand carved eggshells at Hatchfully Yours are bespoke. This means that everything is made to order, whether its semi customisable sculptures in the shop or fully customisable pieces through the 'By Appointment' service or bespoke packages.

Due to the bespoke nature of the sculptures, I am unable to offer any refund or exchange as the work has been carried out for you, with your consent. The By Appointment and bespoke packages services, give you more flexibility and I work very closely with you, getting every important step approved by you in making your unique eggshell sculpture.

I can only offer refunds on Accessories you choose to by from me like the glass dome and the stands, as long as you can send them back and they arrive undamaged and in sellable condition.

You give an option to add a small bag of dry lavender inside the 'heart' goose eggshell sculptures. Could I possily request dry roses instead?
Yes absolutely. I currently offer an option for dry lavender but you could request any dry flowers or petals you wish to have in the hearts, as long as i can easily source them at the time. Can I cancel my order and request for a refund?
You can cancel your order by emailing me within 3 hours of placing your order. After that time has elapsed, I begin working on your eggshell sculpture. Once work has started on the piece, you will not be able to cancel the order and there will be no refunds possible.
